They're not my typical go-to books, but the ones I've seen or read so far have been great. I think maybe the undead dilemma provides a depth that others don't have? Funny story--my dad watches True Blood, so he decided he wanted to read a vampire book. He went into the store, looked down at a table and happened to see a vampire book. So he bought it. He read it, couldn't get through it and gave it to me. I took one look at the cover and burst into laughter--it was some cartoon looking cover with a female vampire in some sort of ripped bodice dress. Out of all the vampire books he could have found (he didn't even know there are whole vampire sections in the bookstore) THIS is what he picked.
