At the same time, I have my doubts about those who 'churn out' two or three (or more) books per year for HQN etc - but maybe I'm just envious that they can do that, when I agonise over all the editing and polishing of mine! I thought (naively) how hard can it be?
Ana Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12325215832587691886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999125118927001112.post-45885723059824307882012-09-26T14:18:12.319-07:002012-09-26T14:18:12.319-07:00Thanks, Debra. I usually have an idea about the ending well before I get to it, but don't really know the last few lines until I actually get tothat point.
In the case of 'Her Only Option', I wanted to show what both characters had learnt that would stand them in good stead for the future i.e. dealing with things together, rather than being so independent! With a couple of my books, I've 'restated' the title a bit. Which has worked out fine so far in that I've gotten to keep the titles I've come up with.

I don't like an ending that's rushed. I want things to play out nicely and come to a logical and satisfying conclusion. But I also agree that we don't need a lot of filler after the HEA.Debra St. Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07154130275058459169noreply@blogger.com
