Congrats to my fellow bloggers on our first anniversary. A year ago, we really had no idea what we were actually going to do on this blog. Losing our 'initiator' early on threw us in at the deep end, but we worked together, came up with topics to discuss, started our 'Friday Friends' and gained a good number of followers too.
I've enjoyed getting to know my fellow bloggers and quite a lot of our followers too, and I've also enjoyed my weekly 'slot' on the blog, especially the weeks when the agreed topic has really made me think about some aspect of my writing.
I'm sure we'll now go from strength to strength, sharing with and supporting each other. Here's to our second year together!
We're so lucky to have the capacity to network. Blogging weekly has helped my confidence. Who knew I had so much to say?

ReplyDeleteAgree about the capacity to network. When I was writing in the 60's and 70's, that kind of networking didn't exist and I wrote in isolation, not knowing any other writers. Now I appreciate so much the help, support and encouragement I receive online.

ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how many of us seem to have racked up a year in blogland, and have met an astonishing number of new writer friends along the way: what with writing blogfests and meet 'n' greet blog hops, and online parties, it's been a virtual ball. ;)

Yes, it's great tob e able to come out of our "hidey holes" and chat about our work. When I was writing in the 70's I used to feel so isolated. No such thing today.
